The Fifa World Player of the Year Award is considered one of the most prestigious Awards a football player can recieve. Every year a group of the best performing footballers from that year are picked and coaches from around the world get three votes each, One vote worth 5 points, One worth 3 points and One worth 1 point. The winners are then ordered based on the total number of points they recieve.

For now, there are only 2(two) world best footballers namely;
1. Cristiano Ronaldo (Cr7) - Portugal.
2. Lionel Messi - Argentina.
...No one & i mean no other footballer can even think of coming close to these two greats! Their statistics are just 2gud be true. Scoring goals in braces & hat-tricks in almost every game. Mark my words, as of 2008 till 2010/011 & 2011/012 seasons they're simply d'best in d'planet when it comes to football.
* C.Ronaldo is very good, so good u wuld've thought no one will ever match his skills but suprisingly there's a debi-god in the shape of Lionel Messi.
* If not for Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo is the world best footballer. Cr7 is not just lucky bcos his light is shining at d'wrong time when there's an even brighter light shining too 4rm Messi.
* Messi is a natural football player, so skillful & humble. He was born with the talent, his skills are inbuilt. Cr7 is just too kidish & proud -got better wit the game though by practice.
* No doubt both Cr7 & Messi hav good goal stats, always chasing themselves but obviously on big games where xpectations are so high, Messi always outshines Cr7 who only makes d'news wit smaller, weaker clubs.
